PlayStation’s Pulse Elevate Wireless Gaming Speakers Launch November 12 for $219.99
Sony’s Pulse Elevate wireless gaming speakers arrive November 12 for $219.99, with preorders opening September 1.
The Pulse Elevate speakers include a built-in microphone for voice chat, Sony’s PlayStation Link low-latency wireless technology, and charging docks. They also support Bluetooth with multipoint pairing, Tempest 3D AudioTech for spatial audio, and come with a PlayStation Link USB-C adaptor, according to Engadget. Presets and settings can be customized through a PS5 or PC, and the speakers can be tilted. Sony has not released full tech specs or battery life details, only saying they will play audio for “hours.”
The speakers will be available in black and white. Preorders begin September 1 at 10 AM ET in the US or 10 AM local time elsewhere, via PlayStation Direct and participating retailers. The black version will be sold globally on PlayStation Direct and at participating retailers. The white version will be available only on PlayStation Direct in the US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, and at “select” retailers in other regions, according to The Verge. Engadget noted that preorders open at PlayStation Direct and third-party retailers, and that the white and Midnight (black) colors match other PlayStation accessories.
