Portugal vs Norway to stream free on Virgin Media Play in Ireland
Portugal vs Norway streams free on Virgin Media Play in Ireland on Sunday; Portugal seek a fourth Nations League win.
TechRadar reported that Portugal beat Norway 2-1 last week in an entertaining game, with Jorge Jesus' team coming out on top against Erling Haaland's side. The guide said the head-to-head record is extremely one-sided: Portugal have won nine meetings, Norway have won one and two have ended in draws.
Virgin Media Play will stream the game free to viewers in Ireland with English-language commentary. The match will also air free on RTP 1 in Portugal and TV 2 Play in Norway, where it will be broadcast free-to-air in the respective domestic languages. Virgin Media Play is showing select Nations League games during this international break, including Portugal vs Norway, and viewers need only a simple account to stream the action, TechRadar said.
TechRadar's guide says viewers outside Ireland can use a VPN to watch the free stream. It recommends NordVPN, describing a VPN as software that can make a device appear as if it is back in the user's home country so they can unlock their usual service. TechRadar lists NordVPN with up to 75% off and three extra months free, and says it unlocks global streams. The guide adds that it reviews VPN services in the context of legal recreational uses, such as accessing a service from another country subject to that service's terms and conditions, and protecting online security and privacy while abroad. It says it does not support or condone illegal or malicious use of VPN services, and that consuming pirated paid-for content is neither endorsed nor approved by Future Publishing.
