Prime Day Deals Cut Sennheiser Earbud and Wireless Speaker Prices

TechRadar described the IE 200 as in-ear monitors aimed at audiophiles or musicians on a budget. The publication said they deliver detailed, articulate audio with clean and agile bass, well-defined mids and precise treble, and that its reviewer has used them regularly for two years without signs of wear or degradation. The IE 200 use a 3.5mm connector for laptops, MP3 players and phones that retain a headphone jack. TechRadar said their balanced tuning is suited to analytical listening rather than a V-shaped sound profile, with instrument separation that lets each part of a mix breathe.

The CX 80U, offered at Amazon UK, uses a USB-C connector and includes a microphone for phone calls, noise isolation and multiple eartip sizes, according to the report. TechRadar said the CX 80U has strong clarity in the treble range and called it very cheap for the best-sounding wired earbuds in its price class. The publication said UK buyers who want USB-C flexibility may prefer it to the 3.5mm IE 200.

For wireless audio, TechRadar said the second day of Amazon Prime Day still had discounts on Bluetooth speakers and Wi-Fi multi-room products. The WiiM Sound Lite, a rival to the Sonos Era 100, was priced at $183 from $229 in the US and £189 from £229 in the UK. The Bose SoundLink Micro Gen 2 was $99.99 from $129 in the US and £79.95 from £119.95 in the UK. TechRadar said the US Bose deal applied only to the Dewdrop Mint colorway, while the UK Bose deal applied only to the Petal Pink colorway.

Other deals included the JBL Flip 7, which TechRadar called waterproof and rugged, with swappable attachments including a carabiner and carrying strap, punchy bass, good volume and up to 14 hours of battery life. In the UK, TechRadar said there was no Amazon discount on the Flip 7 at the time but that it was discounted at Very with free home delivery. The Sonos Era 100 SL, which received a 4.5-star review from TechRadar, was also at its lowest price, though it lacks voice control and Android users miss Sonos room correction.

TechRadar also cited the WiiM Sound smart speaker, a hi-res Wi-Fi and touchscreen model available in black or white, at its lowest-seen price. The WiiM Sub wireless subwoofer with RoomFit Bass technology was also discounted. TechRadar said the subwoofer can be plugged in, connected online, tuned through the app's RoomFit feature and paired with WiiM speakers or an amp, or connected through an RCA sub-out. No conflicting pricing or availability details were reported.
