QCraft's City NOA Reaches Nine Models in Four Months as Installations Top One Million

QCraft's single-chip city NOA reached nine partner models in four months, mainly in the RMB 100,000-200,000 segment.

The rollout schedule was dense. A mainstream-priced new energy sedan from an independent Chinese brand launched in late July. From early to late September, several independent-brand new energy models, SUVs and higher-end new energy vehicles followed, including a joint-venture brand new energy SUV. In early to mid-October, an independent brand's fuel SUV and an independent brand sedan were added. The nine models span independent and joint-venture brands, battery-electric and hybrid powertrains, and sedans and SUVs, according to the report.

QCraft describes the solution as the industry's first city NOA system to be mass-produced and launched on a single Horizon Journey 6M chip. It delivers what the company calls a 256 TOPS assisted-driving experience with 128 TOPS of compute through software-hardware co-design. The system uses safety-interpretable end-to-end technology and is designed for human-like defensive driving, allowing it to predict and slow down at unsignalized intersections and narrow roads shared by vehicles and pedestrians. For automakers, the lower compute and cost help bring city NOA to more models.

Behind the model rollout is scale. In 2026, cumulative installations of QCraft's Chengfeng assisted driving system exceeded 1 million, with more than 10 automakers and over 45 production models, the report said. The installed base also creates a data loop: the vehicles act as data touchpoints in real physical environments and feed algorithm updates. QCraft says the system's safety end-to-end model is integrated with the central cockpit human-machine interface so decisions can be transparent and explainable. Cumulative user assisted-driving mileage has exceeded 4.5 billion km, and the automatic emergency braking false-trigger rate is less than once per 500,000 km.

QCraft's Pro solution based on the single Journey 6M is still being upgraded. The company plans to start OTA upgrades on key models soon, adding stronger scene understanding and decision-making in complex environments to make city NOA more mature and safer. The report said software iterations are being used to test the technical limits of the single J6M, while mass-production rollout will follow road testing and OTA schedules.

Outside China, QCraft's city NOA made its European debut in October with urban-road demonstrations in Paris and Munich. Its L4 unmanned logistics vehicle began mapless test operations in Guangzhou. The company is also continuing work on world models and reinforcement learning in physical AI, according to the report.

QCraft expects almost all of its new partner models this year to carry city NOA, as 2026 becomes a year of large-scale mass production for the technology. The company is pushing high-level assisted driving toward the RMB 100,000 class, the report said.

Editor's Summary

QCraft's single-chip city NOA reached nine partner models in four months, mostly in the RMB 100,000-200,000 segment, while cumulative Chengfeng installations passed one million. The rollout expands high-level assisted driving from premium cars toward mainstream models and adds OTA, safety and overseas testing milestones.
