Qdrant Moves From Vector Search Into Physical AI After 365% Two-Year Revenue Growth
Berlin-based Qdrant plans to move beyond vector search into physical AI and help robots think and remember, according to Sifted. The report says the company has recorded 365 per cent two-year compound annual revenue growth.
Qdrant launched five years ago, and some investors thought at the time that the company had arrived too late, Sifted reported. The 365 per cent figure is a two-year compound annual growth rate in revenue, a measure of how quickly sales have expanded over that period.
Sifted framed the change as Qdrant's next chapter, from vector search into physical AI. The stated ambition, helping robots think and remember, puts the company's technology in machines that act outside software environments rather than in search and retrieval alone.
The company is led by chief executive André Zayarni. The report appeared in Sifted's daily newsletter, which carries news and analysis on startups across Europe.
