Quordle #1732 answers DECAL, WIDTH, WOKEN, LEVER; Strands #963 spangram FAMILYTIES

Quordle #1732: DECAL, WIDTH, WOKEN, LEVER; Strands #963 spangram: FAMILYTIES, TechRadar reported.

TechRadar reported that today’s Quordle contains four different standard vowels—A, E, I, O and U, not Y—and one answer with a repeated letter. None of Q, Z, X or J appears in the four answers, and two of the answers begin with the same letter. The starting letters are D, W, W and L, according to the column.

The same column listed the answers to Quordle Daily Sequence game #1732 as SLIMY, ALERT, AGENT and MAKER. It also noted that Quordle was one of the original Wordle alternatives and remains active after more than 1,500 games. The puzzle appears at midnight each day for a player’s time zone, so some players are working on “today’s game” while others are still on “yesterday’s,” TechRadar said.

For NYT Strands game #963, TechRadar reported the theme as “Any relation?” The column said the spangram has 10 letters and touches the top of the first column and the bottom of the sixth column. It listed MOOD, FLOG, TERRY, BEER, THERE and MILE as clue words that can unlock the in-game hints system. TechRadar rated the puzzle Hard and said the writer used one hint.

TechRadar describes Strands as the New York Times’ word game following Wordle, Spelling Bee and Connections, available on the NYT Games site on desktop and mobile. Its October 22 column carried a spoiler warning before the answers and included a link to the previous day’s Strands puzzle. The Quordle column likewise placed its answers below a spoiler warning and linked to Wednesday’s game #1731.
