Qwen Opens Applications for 'Qwen Go!', a Personal Agent Inside Its App
Qwen opened an experience application page for its Personal Agent “Qwen Go!” inside the Qwen app on Oct. 13, saying the assistant can handle flight compensation claims, bookings, shopping and job applications.
Users can submit applications through a designated entry in the app, and Qwen will open experience slots to more users in stages, according to a notice published on the company's official WeChat account and reported by Leiphone.
The notice said that giving every person their own dedicated AI assistant has been Qwen's goal. Drawing on Alibaba's ecosystem and open platform, Qwen already handles personal errands in dozens of areas, including shopping, travel and logistics.
Qwen Go! is embedded in the Qwen app rather than offered as a separate service. The company says the agent has stronger task-execution capabilities and can handle more types of personal affairs across more domains.
Leiphone reporters who tried the agent found it could complete flight delay compensation claims, bookings for venues and performances, restaurant screening and reservations, price comparison and ordering, and job applications.
In one user test, the agent checked the status of a delayed flight and communicated with platform customer service to file a compensation claim. The user received 70 yuan in compensation, according to the test video.
Qwen said it will continue to optimize the product based on the usage feedback it collects, with the aim of building a smarter and more personalized personal AI assistant.
