REDTIGER ZP1 Dash Cam Drops to $165.98 in Amazon Prime Day Deal
Amazon offers the REDTIGER ZP1 dash cam at $165.98, $74 off its $239.99 list price and matching its all-time low, per Android Authority.
The ZP1 uses a three-channel setup that combines a wide front lens, a telephoto front lens and a rear camera. Android Authority reported that the telephoto view offers up to 4x optical zoom and can help with license plate recognition at around 100 feet. The arrangement is intended to capture a broad view of the road while also focusing on distant details, a feature the outlet highlighted as a major part of the product's appeal.
Recording capabilities include 2.5K video from the main front camera, 1080p from the telephoto front channel and 1080p from the rear channel. The dash cam also uses Sony STARVIS 2 imaging and HDR on the front lenses, according to the report. Electronic image stabilization is included to assist with low-light recording and reduce shake.
The device supports 5.8GHz Wi-Fi, app connectivity, touch control and voice control, Android Authority said. Optional hardwire-based parking features are available depending on how the user sets up the camera. Android Authority said the ZP1 is aimed at drivers who want more than a basic dash cam and that the Amazon deal is worth a look.
