Ring Battery Doorbell 2K (2nd Gen) Falls to $39.99 All-Time Low on Amazon
Amazon is selling the Ring Battery Doorbell 2K (2nd Gen) for $39.99, a 60% discount from its $99.99 list price and the lowest price yet, according to Android Authority.
The device is Ring's newest base battery-powered video doorbell and was released in 2026, the report said. It records in Retinal 2K video and offers up to 6x Enhanced Zoom for sharper close-ups when someone approaches the door. It uses a 140° x 140° head-to-toe view, allowing users to see more than a visitor's face and check packages lower on the doorstep.
Ring includes Live View, Two-Way Talk, motion detection and mobile alerts, so users can check in at any time and speak to someone at the door from a phone. The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery avoids wiring, and Ring says installation takes about 10 minutes. For connectivity, the doorbell uses 2.4 GHz single-band Wi-Fi, with at least 10 Mbps upload speed recommended for 2K performance.
The deal applies to Speckled Gray, Speckled White and Matte Mocha color options. Android Authority reported the discount on Sept. 23, 2026.
