Roewe Jiayue 07 Debuts as 150,000-yuan SUV with 250,000-yuan-class Features

The vehicle's "532" dimensions—nearly 5 meters long, 3-meter wheelbase, 2-meter width—yield an 88.8% cabin efficiency rate, which Roewe says is the highest in its class. Interior length reaches 3,237mm, vertical height 1,339mm, and the standard trunk offers 834 liters, expandable to 915 liters with an underfloor compartment. Folding the rear seats creates a 2.3-meter bed mode. The cabin also has 41 storage spaces, including drainable umbrella slots and a co-driver vanity table.

The Jiayue 07 uses SAIC's self-developed range-extender hybrid system, offering a 320km CLTC all-electric range and 1,480km combined CLTC range. The range extender reaches 48.1% peak indicated thermal efficiency, with a fuel-to-electricity conversion rate of 3.54kWh/L and best WLTC combined fuel consumption of 4.97L/100km on the 32.6kWh version. Fast charging from 30% to 80% takes as little as 15 minutes.

In driver assistance, the SUV is the only model in its price bracket equipped with Momenta's latest R7 world model and the XHEART X7 dedicated chip. Momenta has supplied systems to every top-ten global automaker by sales, with over one million vehicles on the road and more than 15 billion kilometers of real-world driving data. SAIC is Momenta's largest strategic investor. Roewe says the R7 model can interpret complex Chinese road scenarios such as hospital entrances, complex roundabouts and narrow stone-pillar lanes, and can anticipate risks like suddenly emerging e-bikes or debris. It also supports narrow parking with a 20cm margin on one side and over 300 parking scenarios.

The cabin features what Roewe calls the industry's only fast ice-making onboard refrigerator, jointly developed with Midea. The 7.5-liter "Ice King" can cool to -6°C, heat to 50°C, make ice in 10 minutes, and includes auto de-molding and AI leftover reminders. Front seats are NASA-standard dual zero-gravity units with 4-way leg support, 4-way lumbar support, 16-point SPA massage, heating and ventilation; rear seats recline up to 143 degrees. The roof-mounted rear screen is 2.5K with 800 nits brightness and TÜV Rheinland blue-light certification, paired with an 18-speaker-plus-2 subwoofer 7.1.4.2 panoramic audio system.

A unique AI aura light spans 5 meters with 277 individually controllable LEDs and 256 colors, which can map music's volume, frequency and rhythm to lighting effects. The cabin also integrates an AI assistant that can answer questions about video content.

As the first AI-native car from the Roewe-Volcano Engine partnership, the Jiayue 07 is built on the CPP AI-native architecture developed from the ground up. It supports family accounts, long-term memory and Face ID, allowing the vehicle to match individual preferences and coordinate all hardware functions through a unified "brain." Roewe said customers who place a 999-yuan deposit before pre-sale can lock in 50,000 credits and exclusive blind-booking gifts, while an "AI pioneer group" will give early users access to the AI-native experience.
