Roku's Pro Series LX OLED TVs Go on Sale Exclusively on Amazon
Roku's Pro Series LX OLED TVs are now sold exclusively on Amazon in 55- and 65-inch models, priced at $1,300 and $1,600, with a 144Hz refresh rate and brighter panel than earlier Roku OLEDs.
At the time of that announcement, Roku began selling its Pro Series OLED models at prices starting at $999. The LX models are more expensive. Roku says the Pro Series LX OLED TVs are its most advanced models yet.
The LX sets have a 144Hz variable refresh rate, compared with 120Hz on the Pro Series TVs, which Roku says makes them better for gaming, especially fast-paced shooters and action games with complex physics. The LX TVs are also brighter than Roku's non-LX OLEDs, with a wider range of colors and an advanced polarizer that reduces reflections on the display. The LX range also comes with a remote that has a rechargeable battery and hands-free voice capability.
Both lines use a new design with an ultra-thin metal bezel and a top half that is razor thin. They run Roku OS and come with its preloaded streaming apps, and they support Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos.
