Salesforce's Dreamforce 2026 Opens in San Francisco with AI in Focus

Dreamforce 2026 opens Tuesday in San Francisco with Marc Benioff's keynote and expected AI updates.

TechRadar reported that it is on the ground in San Francisco and will cover keynotes, product announcements and other news during the week. The opening keynote is scheduled for 10 a.m. PST on Tuesday, Sept. 15, when Benioff is expected to begin the event. The publication said Benioff is likely to be joined by special guests.

Tickets for in-person attendance are still available, but TechRadar reported that the last few are selling fast. For remote attendees, Salesforce is streaming much of the event on its Salesforce+ platform. A dedicated Dreamforce+ section will offer more than 400 sessions, virtual hands-on trainings and other content, and registration for Salesforce+ is free, according to TechRadar.

TechRadar reported that Salesforce is expected to use the event to announce its latest AI products and updates. Last year's event focused on AI agents, and the company is now set to reveal further changes to Agentforce 360 that it says can help workers become more productive. Slack, which recently announced Slackforce, has promised a deeper connection with Salesforce platforms, with AI agents able to do more than before, TechRadar reported. Tableau, Mulesoft and Salesforce's other business units are also expected to have new announcements.

Beyond product news, TechRadar said Dreamforce typically includes elements such as the traditional Ohana greeting, Matthew McConaghey-voiced intro videos, celebrity cameos and musical guests. TechRadar also said it would try to get a sneak peek at the event site, affectionately known as the Campgrounds, before the conference begins.
