The global announcement says the official One UI 9 rollout begins today, September 16, starting with the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Regional announcements show the release is no longer limited to South Korea. Samsung confirmed availability from today in parts of Europe, Africa, Asia, South America, and several Middle Eastern markets, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Kuwait.

Earlier on September 16, the stable One UI 9 release was spotted rolling out in South Korea after months of beta testing. Samsung then made the rollout official and began getting specific about its international expansion. The update is the Android 17 release for the Galaxy S26 series.
