Samsung expands One UI 9 beta to older foldables

Samsung expands One UI 9 beta to Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and S25 FE in select markets, while the S25 Edge is not mentioned.

Stable One UI 9 is already available on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series and the Galaxy Z Flip 8, but Samsung has not yet released a stable version for older foldables. The company recently rolled out the eighth beta for the Galaxy S26 series. Earlier the same day, the first One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy S25 series began arriving in South Korea, the UK, and India.

In a notice, Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy S25 FE will also be included in the rollout. The Galaxy S25 Edge was not mentioned, which Android Authority said appeared to validate suspicions that the model is being left out.

When the first One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 becomes available, participants can enroll through the Samsung Members app.
