Samsung Galaxy A57 Hits AU$519 All-Time Low in Amazon Prime Big Deal Days

TechRadar said the Galaxy A57 is one of its top-rated budget phones and that its review awarded the handset 4 out of 5 stars for its thin and light chassis and vibrant display. The reviewer said they enjoyed using it. At the AU$519 price, the Navy colour costs slightly more at AU$539, while the 256GB model starts at AU$619.

TechRadar argued the Galaxy A57 is a better value than Samsung’s new Galaxy S26 FE, especially after the S26 FE’s price increase from its predecessor. The Galaxy S26 FE starts at AU$1,149. Both phones use 6.7-inch AMOLED displays, have similar main and ultrawide camera specifications, the same starting storage of 128GB and similar battery sizes, TechRadar said. It added that it would be hard-pressed to recommend the more expensive Galaxy S26 FE unless a buyer really wants a telephoto camera, wireless charging and the full Galaxy AI suite.

The Galaxy A57 also brings several upgrades over last year’s Galaxy A56, according to TechRadar. Those include a much thinner and lighter chassis at 6.9mm thick and 179g, compared with the A56’s 7.4mm depth and 198g weight; a faster Exynos 1680 chipset that can handle more AI tasks; and an IP68 durability rating, up from IP67.

TechRadar concluded that buyers who do not need flagship specifications but want a handset that still feels premium would not go wrong with the Samsung Galaxy A57, particularly at its current low price.
