Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Gets First Price Cut, $40 Off at Amazon
Amazon has cut the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE to $659.99, its first discount since launch, taking $40 off the $699.99 retail price reported on Oct. 2, 2026.
The reduction is small, but it arrives while the device is only just reaching buyers in select markets, which makes any early discount unusual for a phone at this stage of its release. The Galaxy S26 FE is positioned as the more affordable flagship-style option within the S26 family, and the lower price pushes the value proposition further in that direction.
Hardware on the phone includes a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Samsung's Exynos 2500 chip, 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It ships with One UI 9 out of the box, a distinction within the S26 lineup, and Samsung has placed a strong focus on premium photo tools and Galaxy AI features.
The device also supports wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, NFC and Wi-Fi 6. Amazon shoppers have rated it 4.8 out of 5 so far, according to the same report.
Android Authority described the $659.99 price as a good point to buy the Galaxy S26 FE before the price returns to its $699.99 list level. No other retailer pricing was cited in the report.
