Samsung Galaxy Store update moves Menu to floating bottom bar

Samsung's Galaxy Store version 6.6.18.22 moves the Menu option from the top-left hamburger icon to the floating bottom bar, adding a fourth item alongside Apps, Games and My Galaxy.

According to Tarun Vats on X, the update relocates Menu from the hamburger icon in the top-left corner of the home page to the floating bottom bar. Screenshots shared with the report show the new layout, where Menu joins Apps, Games and My Galaxy, bringing the bottom bar to four items.

Before the change, users had to open the menu through the hamburger icon in the upper-left. Android Authority noted this was harder to reach, especially on larger phones such as the Galaxy S26 Ultra or Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. The redesign also appears to shift the Galaxy Store logo farther left, using the space freed by moving the menu icon.

The update is rolling out to Galaxy device owners worldwide, including those using One UI 8.5 and the newer One UI 9 release. Samsung has not confirmed the change, according to the report.

Users can check the Galaxy Store for the update, and the app should guide them through installation if it is available. If the update is not showing, Vats shared a link to download the APK manually on a Galaxy phone.
