Samsung Galaxy Watch Deals Stay Live on Amazon US After Prime Day Ends

The Galaxy Watch 8 line is also discounted. The 40mm Bluetooth-only model starts at $219.99, $80 below its $299.99 list price. The larger 44mm version carries a smaller discount of 8%, from $329.99 to $304, a saving of $26.

The older Galaxy Watch 7 starts at $159.99, down from $249.99, a reduction of 36%. The 44mm version of that model is priced at $189.99, down from $279.99.

TechRadar said it did not know how long the post-Prime Day prices would remain in place, and that Samsung could halt them at any time.

The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic uses a dive-watch-style rotating bezel that also serves as a way to control the device, along with the Quick button that first appeared on the Galaxy Watch Ultra. The LTE version, which is the one discounted, can be added to a phone's data plan; at its current price it costs less than the Bluetooth-only variant, TechRadar noted.

In its review, TechRadar described the Galaxy Watch 8 as "a triumph," pointing to its redesign, advanced running features and interface. The Watch 7, an older design that is still supported, includes Galaxy AI features such as the personalized Energy Score found on newer models, according to the report.

TechRadar recommended the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic for Samsung users who want to stream music, answer emails and take calls from the wrist. The report also said one of its writers, Hamish Hector, wore the watch to his wedding.
