Samsung HW-Q990F Soundbar Hits Near-Record-Low Price of $999 at Best Buy for Labor Day

The Q990F features an 11.1.4-channel configuration with 23 speakers spread across a front soundbar, two rear speakers, and a subwoofer. It supports both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, covering a wide range of audio formats. According to TechRadar, even though the model was released last year, its price rarely drops below $1,000.

TechRadar's reviewer praised the Q990F's powerful and detailed sound, as well as its immersive Atmos performance. The system also includes HDMI 2.1 ports that support 4K 120Hz, making it a useful addition for gamers with multiple consoles. The reviewer tested the ports and found they deliver top-notch gaming performance.

One notable change from its predecessor is a redesigned compact subwoofer. The reviewer initially worried this would weaken bass performance, but was proven wrong.
