The seventh beta follows One UI 9 Beta 6 released earlier this week. Android Authority reports that its own Galaxy S26 Ultra in the UK has received the update, and notes Tarun Vats on X has identified the new features as those from the Galaxy Z Fold 8, including a new Finder with Google Search, My Fan Cam, and custom cards in Now Nudge.

The update also improves intermittent device rebooting in specific situations and enhances the usability of "Do not disturb" mode.

Android Authority notes the seventh beta is unusual because the Galaxy S26 FE launched yesterday with stable One UI 9, making the extended beta cycle unexpected. The outlet sympathizes with flagship S26 users who may be impatient seeing the stable update on a cheaper, newer phone, and questions whether Samsung is deliberately delaying the stable release to encourage sales.
