Samsung S700D Soundbar Drops to $398 in Amazon Deal
Amazon has discounted Samsung’s ultra-slim S700D soundbar to $398 from $549.99, a $151 savings, Android Authority reports.
Android Authority reported that the price represents a 28% discount from the recommended retail price. The S700D is designed for buyers who want stronger TV sound without adding a large speaker system to a room. Its slim body is intended to fit under a modern wall-mounted TV.
The soundbar supports Wireless Dolby Atmos, DTS-based virtual surround processing and up-firing sound, features intended to create a wider, more room-filling effect. Samsung also includes Q-Symphony, which lets compatible Samsung TVs and the soundbar play together, along with SpaceFit Sound Pro for room-based audio tuning. Adaptive Sound is included to help make dialogue easier to follow, and Game Mode Pro is designed to highlight gaming audio cues.
Bluetooth and Wi-Fi streaming add ways to use the soundbar beyond TV audio. Amazon’s listing puts the S700D at $398, compared with the $549.99 recommended retail price cited by Android Authority. The report said the discount amounts to about $151 in savings.
