Samsung S90H OLED TV Hits Record-Low Prime Day Prices in US and UK

TechRadar reports Samsung's 2026 mid-range S90H OLED TV, with a Glare Free screen for bright rooms, is discounted for Amazon Prime Day: $1,497.99 for the 65-inch model in the US and £1,499 for the 55-inch model in the UK.

In the US, Amazon is selling the 65-inch Samsung S90H for $1,497.99, down from $1,897.99. TechRadar said this is the lowest price since the TV was released in April. In the UK, Currys has the 55-inch S90H for £1,499, reduced from £1,599.

TechRadar reported that the S90H is the first TV in Samsung's S90 series to get the Glare Free screen. Samsung introduced the glare-reducing technology in 2023 but had reserved it for its flagship S95 OLED series until now. The change gives buyers a mid-range OLED option for bright rooms.

The publication said the LG C6 is one of the best OLED TVs it has tested this year, but it has a reflective screen. TechRadar said reflections have troubled OLED TVs for years, while Samsung's Glare Free technology does a good job of eliminating mirror-like reflections in bright rooms. The S90H fills what TechRadar described as a gap in the market for a mid-range OLED designed for bright rooms.

TechRadar said it has not fully tested the S90H yet, though a unit is waiting in its test lab. The writer saw the TV in person in a room with plenty of natural light on a bright morning. Watching dark movies such as The Revenant was surprisingly hassle-free, TechRadar said, with the S90H retaining deep black tones while reducing reflections from large balcony windows.

TechRadar said the performance was more impressive because the S90H will not have the brightness of the flagship S95H or S99H, which have an advantage in bright-room viewing. Beyond bright-room use, TechRadar said the S90H delivers punchy HDR highlights and vibrant, bold and accurate colors. It cited the night market scene in Blade Runner: 2049 as a showcase for those qualities and for crisp, lifelike textures.

For gamers, TechRadar said the S90H has a feature set similar to the best gaming TVs. It has four HDMI 2.1 ports, 4K 165Hz, full VRR including FreeSync and G-Sync, HDR10+ gaming, ALLM and Game Hub, which offers cloud gaming options.

TechRadar recommended the S90H as a strong value for a bright room and said the Prime Day prices are the best available today. It also noted that the 55-inch LG C5 is cheaper at the moment in the UK, but said the S90H is the better option for a bright room.

Editor's Summary Samsung's 2026 mid-range S90H OLED TV is discounted for Amazon Prime Day in the US and UK, with a 65-inch model at $1,497.99 and a 55-inch model at £1,499. The TV brings Samsung's Glare Free screen to a mid-range OLED, addressing bright-room reflections that have affected many OLEDs, and TechRadar recommends it for bright rooms and gaming.
