Samsung SDI to Showcase AI Data Center Battery Solutions in Singapore

Samsung SDI is displaying batteries for AI data centers at Data Center World Asia 2026 in Singapore, including UPS, BBU, Samsung Battery Box and cylindrical LFP cells.

The company said its booth features four sections covering uninterruptible power supply, battery backup units, Samsung Battery Box and its battery cell lineup. The Samsung Battery Box section features prismatic lithium iron phosphate batteries designed for SBB 2.0, the company's integrated energy storage system solution, Yonhap News reported.

At the exhibition, Samsung SDI also unveiled its cylindrical LFP batteries for the first time. The company said the batteries provide higher power output and capacity while improving safety.

"We will continue to introduce solutions that address the diverse needs of data center customers," a company representative said, according to Yonhap News.
