Samsung starts rolling out stable One UI 9 to Galaxy S26 phones in the US

Samsung has begun pushing the stable One UI 9 update, based on Android 17, to Galaxy S26 series phones in the US, with Galaxy S26 Ultra owners on T-Mobile reporting the 4.1GB download first.

Galaxy S26 Ultra owners in the US say on the r/S26Ultra subreddit that the update is now arriving on their handsets. The reports point to T-Mobile devices, while claims about whether the same build is reaching AT&T variants conflict.

A screenshot posted by a Redditor shows the build numbers S948USQU4BZID, S948UOYN4BZID and S948USQU4BZID, a total download size of 4.1GB, and the September 2026 security patch bundled with the release.

The Korean rollout of stable One UI 9 for the Galaxy S26 line had already begun, but availability elsewhere remained an open question. The US release now answers that question for at least one model in the lineup.

There is no word yet on stable One UI 9 for other Galaxy S26 series models, and the rollout's reach across carriers and devices is still being tracked by users.
