Samsung unveils HiFi S99H OLED TV with Canvas audiophile soundbar, starting at $7,999

Samsung and Canvas unveil the HiFi S99H OLED TV with built-in audiophile soundbars and Scandi design, starting at $7,999.

The HiFi S99H is based on Samsung's S99H OLED TV, known as S95H in the US. In its review of the standard model, TechRadar noted that the new silver FloatLayer frame was distracting and that the previous central pedestal stand had been replaced by two plastic feet. The special version removes that design and instead includes a fixed floor stand or wall mount as standard, with an optional rotating floor stand in aluminum or black.

Buyers can choose between the standard Canvas soundbar with 1,000W of Class D amplification or the larger Canvas L with 1,500W. Canvas describes its soundbar as the world's first audiophile soundbar, although other manufacturers may dispute that claim. TechRadar said it was impressed with the Canvas soundbar when heard in action. Both models deliver stereo audio with Baach's 3D sound processing to create a more immersive listening experience, rather than full surround sound.

Samsung said the goal is "more than simply the combination of a TV and a sound system. The ambition is to create a new category in which true HiFi, picture quality and furniture design are developed as one integrated solution — developed for consumers who do not want to choose between performance and interior design."

The HiFi S99H will be available in 55-, 65-, 77-, and 83-inch sizes. It will appear in selected Canvas showrooms from October 2026, with the Canvas L version following later this year.
