Security China 2026 to Open Nov. 3 in Beijing Under Theme 'Intelligent Engine Reshapes Security'
The 2026 China International Security Products Expo and the third Intelligent and Security Industry Development Conference will run Nov. 3-6, 2026, at China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi) in Beijing, with new zones for embodied intelligence, low-altitude security and AI large models, organizer the China Security Protection Industry Association said.
The expo, approved by China's Ministry of Commerce and hosted by the association, was first held in 1994 and has run for 32 years across 17 editions. The association describes it as a platform for implementing the overall national security concept, strengthening technology-enabled public safety governance and supporting the building of national security capacity.
The organizer said the theme reflects a shift in the security industry from perception intelligence built on deep learning toward cognitive intelligence driven by large-model technology. In its explanation of "intelligent engine," the association points to artificial intelligence as a national strategy and to the arrival of the large-model era, saying digital transformation, intelligent upgrading and technological self-reliance in the industry depend on large-model support, and that AI must be integrated more deeply with security to upgrade the entire industrial chain. Under "reshaping security," it says security boundaries are expanding from the physical world to a fused virtual-physical space, with risks such as AI-enabled crime and intelligent equipment emerging. It cites the fourth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on modernizing the national security system and capacity, and the State Council's opinions on carrying out the "AI Plus" initiative, which call for a new model of human-machine coexistence in social governance and stronger use of AI to safeguard national security.
Five exhibition highlights are planned. For the "AI Plus" strategy, Huawei, China Telecom, Tiandy and Vimicro, along with algorithm companies, will present security industry large models, public-security-specific intelligent agents and multimodal perception algorithms intended for scaled deployment in police work, city governance and digital transformation.
A dedicated embodied intelligence section will be set up for the first time, with its own demonstration area and physical environments for live operational exercises. Established security firms Guotou Intelligent, Tianyue Technology and Qingxin Hulian will appear alongside robot developers Zhihan Xingtu, Deep Robotics, Zhishen Technology, Luoteng, Xuanji Power and Guangmu, as well as wearable equipment company Atu Future. The exhibits cover embodied equipment for security patrols, traffic management, explosive ordnance disposal, intelligent inspection, fire emergency response, infrastructure protection and government services.
In the low-altitude security track, the expo will show technologies and solutions for uncrewed systems operating in air, space, ground and water domains. The aerial portion includes police drones, low-altitude situational awareness, airspace control and counter-drone systems. Companies listed as participants include Jieneng Keshi, China Railway Signal & Communication, Fanshuang, Ankdi, Naijie, Beijing Hangxing, Anqing and Hopewell.
For smart policing, exhibits will include integrated policing platforms, intelligent law enforcement equipment, emergency command systems, low-altitude police drones and video digital security, with research institutes under the Ministry of Public Security and companies including Hytera, TD Tech, Guotou Intelligent, Botong and Tianfang Security presenting operational technologies and solutions. The fifth highlight extends beyond traditional security to smart manufacturing and workplace safety, resilient city operations, video system digital security, city safety operation services, "six networks" new infrastructure, and smart home and digital livelihood applications.
The conference program includes a main forum and specialized forums. The main forum is aligned with the 15th Five-Year Plan, the "AI Plus" initiative and low-altitude security, and organizers have invited experts from the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Air Traffic Control Commission, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the National Data Administration to interpret industrial policy. Events include the China Security Industry Development Forum, the China Security "AI Plus" Action Conference, the Low-Altitude Security Industry Development Forum and the fourth China Security Unmanned Systems Security Forum, and the China Security International Forum. New specialized forums will cover public security applications of intelligent agents and innovative applications of embodied robots in public security, alongside sessions on digital security, city safety operation services, security inspection and explosive detection, smart communities and smart homes, project delivery and intelligent physical protection.
Organizers will also release a list of innovative products and outstanding industry solutions, a ranking of ten high-value application scenarios and pioneering cases for embodied robot patrol and inspection in public security, and publications including the Security Industry 15th Five-Year Development Plan, the 2026 China Security Industry Development Analysis Report, a security inspection and explosive detection special issue, the 2026 White Paper on Quadruped Robot Public Safety Applications and the White Paper on Physical Protection (Smart Doors).
For international buyers, the expo will set up a "Global Buyers Lounge" targeting South America, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Central Asia, with more than 50 selected overseas buyers invited for one-to-one talks with exhibitors. The China Security International Forum will invite government officials and security association leaders from Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Turkey, Pakistan and Mongolia to discuss overseas market opportunities and compliance practices. The organizing committee will continue sending overseas procurement leads after the show and link overseas trade delegations with exhibitors on a long-term basis.
Professional visitors will be invited in stages through the expo database and the China Security Big Data Service Platform, with buyer delegations meeting exhibitors on site. Media promotion combines industry outlets, general media, new media and self-media, including CCTV, Xinhua and outlets such as People's Public Security Daily and Legal Daily, plus the association's own media matrix.
