Seedance 2.5 Now Supports Native 1080P Video Generation, API Launched
Volcano Engine's Seedance 2.5 has officially added native 1080P video generation, with API access now open. The upgrade brings improved color depth, detail, and realistic visuals, alongside a limited-time discount.
The 1080P upgrade focuses on three key aspects: color, detail, and realism. Seedance 2.5 1080P is the first to support native 10-bit color depth output, enabling smoother color transitions and retaining more information in shadows and highlights, which provides greater flexibility for professional color grading. In terms of image quality, the edges of characters are sharper, and fine details such as hair, fabric, and other material textures are further enhanced. For lighting and shadows, the model better follows real physical laws in facial contrast and ambient light scattering, making skin texture appear more natural and reducing the artificial feel of generated videos.
According to Volcano Engine's official website, the Seedance 2.5 1080P API is being offered with a first-month limited-time discount. During the promotional period, the price for 1080P image-to-video generation has been reduced from 3.7 yuan to approximately 2.7 yuan per second, equivalent to 30% off the regular price. The offer will last until September 17.
