September 2026 Brings New AirPods, Sony Headphones, Sonos Ace Ultra and More
TechRadar reports September 2026 delivered a wave of new headphones and earbuds from Apple, Bose, Sony, Beats, Sonos, Nothing and Technics, including two AirPods 5 models, three Sony sets, Beats 360 and Sonos Ace Ultra.
TechRadar said the month had become known as “Techtember” among some people in the portable audio business because of the large volume of products entering the market during the 30-day period. Apple opened the run with its “Surprise and Shine” event on September 9, where it released two new AirPods 5 models at affordable price points, the report said.
Sony followed with three new headphones: the Sony WH-CH730N, WH-CH530 and WH-1000XM4C. TechRadar described them as updates to the company’s own successful models for 2026. Apple’s product tally was then increased by Beats 360, the Apple sub-brand’s new headphones. The Beats model had been heavily leaked before launch and lets users customize the color of the ear cup and headband, according to the roundup.
