Sifted Highlights Luxembourg Scaleups Turning Traction Into Growth
Sifted reports on Luxembourg scaleups in Fit 4 Scale, including Financial Navigator, Partao, Kidola and ClimateCamp.
Financial Navigator has roughly doubled its revenue each year without significant capital expenditure and is preparing an equity round for 2027, according to Sifted. The company has built a single system of record connecting more than 13,000 banks, enterprise resource planning and accounting platforms, running in production every day for midsized companies. As AI reshapes the front end of finance, demand for reliable, clean and connected financial infrastructure is accelerating. Dr Jürgen Wolff, CEO and cofounder, said: “The bottom layer is the system of record — bank connectivity, compliance and clean, synchronised data from banks, enterprise resource planning and accounting systems. It’s hard to rebuild, and it becomes more valuable in the AI era.” He added: “That is the real moat. While others build treasury tools, we build the infrastructure behind financial operations.”
Partao is building a new data standard for agricultural commerce. Sifted said the agricultural market is large, fragmented and ready for such a standard, and Partao’s platform brings fragmented data together so products can be identified, matched and sold across brands and markets. Virginia Strong, CEO of Partao, said: “We rebuilt our core fitment dataset into architecture that harmonises parts data across brands feeding an agentic marketplace — something that does not exist elsewhere in the industry.” The result is a proprietary data asset containing 66 million records across 70,000 vehicle types. By focusing on commercial farmers operating over 20 hectares with three to 18 machines, Partao increased average order value from €120 to more than €200, and customers became 4.5 times more likely to return, Sifted reported.
Kidola manages operations for nearly 2,000 childcare centres across Luxembourg, France and Belgium, covering scheduling, billing, parent communication and compliance for more than 60,000 children. It has raised €1.3 million from investors including Expon Capital. Quentin de Madre, the company’s cofounder, said: “When you have 2,000 sites and no two of them are run the same way, you cannot scale on instinct. At some point you have to decide what the company is going to be good at and hire for that.” Sifted reported that Kidola secured an agreement with an additional network of more than 400 daycares, its largest account to date, and is rolling it out across the network. The company has restructured hiring to bring in people across operations, enterprise sales and customer support. De Madre added: “The first enterprise deal teaches you what the next ten will require. We are now building the company for those ten.”
ClimateCamp helps companies collect, calculate and report emissions data as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive creates an urgent mandate for large European companies to collect verified Scope 3 emissions data from suppliers. Scope 3 emissions are indirect greenhouse gas emissions across a company’s value chain. Sifted reported that ClimateCamp’s network hosts nearly 50,000 corporate profiles, with more than 1,300 active businesses continuously sharing verified carbon data across supply chains. Vitalie Schiopu, cofounder of ClimateCamp, said: “Companies are ready to act on climate. What they need is a way to bring the data together, align it with evolving definitions and make it work for reporting. That is exactly what we built.” The company focuses on large corporates with more than 1,000 employees, according to the report.
