Apple is expected to keep the Siri AI waitlist for the public release of iOS 27 and macOS 27 next month, meaning users may not get instant access to new Siri features.

Beta users reported waiting times ranging from one to two weeks, during which the Siri AI setting simply read "Joined Waitlist." Now, it appears the waitlist will also be part of the release versions. A MacRumors forum member spotted that Apple has added code intended to provide an estimated wait time, with the estimate served remotely so Apple can adjust it based on demand and capacity. Users will receive a pushed message once they are granted access to the features.
