SmarCo Debuts AI Workstation and Video-Storage Line at Global Digital Trade Expo

The expo, held at the Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center, is described as China's only national-level, international and professional exhibition themed on digital trade. In AI computing, the SmarCo AI Workstation is a desktop-level intelligent computing device designed for video, large-model and robotics development. It uses the SmarCo GC3 AI chip as its core, adopts a RISC-V dataflow architecture, and integrates 128GB LPDDR5 ECC unified addressing memory with a dedicated video engine. It provides up to 200 TOPS of AI computing power and can support local deployment of 70B large models. It also supports up to 128-channel 1080p@30fps hardware decoding, allowing a single desktop device to handle large-scale video AI workloads that previously required servers, according to Leiphone. The company says the device can provide a computing foundation for local large models, AIGC video creation, robotics and AI agents.

In AI interaction, the SmarCo AI Digital Employee is a solution for offline service scenarios. It combines a digital human image, enterprise knowledge, multimodal interaction and local computing. It can handle high-frequency, standardized tasks such as reception and consultation, guided tours, training meetings and content marketing. The solution covers four scenarios: AI lobby manager, AI training instructor, AI customer acquisition livestreamer and AI meeting assistant. It is aimed at business halls, bank branches, retail showrooms and corporate exhibition halls, providing a unified and continuously updatable intelligent service experience.

In video processing, the SmarCo Intelligent Video Encoding All-in-One is designed to address video transmission bandwidth bottlenecks and activate existing storage resources. Relying on a domestic RISC-V chip, it enables chip-level 'lossless' intelligent encoding. The company says it can ensure stable video return under poor network conditions without changing the original video system architecture, and release several times more storage space without replacing hard drives. It has been used in smart highways, power grids, low-altitude vision and smart cities.

The SmarCo Intelligent Video Storage and Computing All-in-One is based on a domestic RISC-V architecture video-specific AI chip and an end-cloud-application integrated architecture. It provides full-stack capabilities including video access, AI parsing and event closed-loop processing. It has a built-in extensible algorithm repository and supports multidimensional recognition of people, vehicles, behavior and environment, upgrading video surveillance from 'seeing' to 'understanding, warning and closing the loop.' The SmarCo Intelligent Video Analysis All-in-One provides out-of-the-box local video and live-stream monitoring. It covers automatic video download, full-duration frame extraction analysis, real-time live-stream monitoring and full recording, meeting local deployment needs of government and public security customers with high security requirements, according to Leiphone.

In intelligent storage, the SmarCo Xinchuang Intelligent Enterprise NAS All-in-One uses a domestic basic operating system and self-developed controllable storage software, achieving full-stack domestic adaptation from hardware to software. It supports PB-level expansion, RAID-TP high-reliability data protection and minute-level rapid deployment. It is suitable for party and government agencies, central state-owned enterprises, hospitals and schools with Xinchuang storage needs. The new AI NAS displayed at the event integrates intelligent search, intelligent agents and a knowledge base, aiming to improve data management efficiency and value discovery.

The booth attracted industry customers, partners and professional visitors. The SmarCo AI Workstation, with its 200 TOPS of computing power and 128GB of unified memory, became the most popular product, and many professional visitors queued to try it in the live demonstration area. A technical lead from an enterprise said after trying it that running large models locally requires both computing power and memory, and that the SmarCo AI Workstation reaches a high level in both. The person described it as a good computing vehicle for local large-model deployment that avoids security concerns about sending data to the cloud, according to Leiphone.

Zhongke Tongliang said it has continued to build around 'video AI, intelligent storage and localized computing,' with core technologies independently developed on a domestic RISC-V architecture. Its product matrix covers edge AI, intelligent computing and intelligent storage, serving government and enterprise digitalization, smart cities and video generation scenarios. A company official said the Global Digital Trade Expo is an important platform for displaying digital trade innovation and connecting global cooperation opportunities.
