Pixel 10 Pro owners report a second free year of Google AI Pro; the offer appears in My Pixel or Google One.

Google previously bundled 12 months of Google AI Pro with the Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. With the Pixel 11 series now official, that one-year promotion is nearing expiration for many users. According to Android Authority, some owners have found a way to extend the trial by another year.

A day-one Pixel 10 Pro owner on Reddit claimed they redeemed a 12-month free trial of Google AI Pro (5TB) after seeing a promotion in the My Pixel app. The user said their original trial had expired and that the new offer was applied to the same account.

The report said the case did not appear isolated. The same person's parents, also day-one Pixel 10 Pro owners, supposedly redeemed the additional free trial. Other Pixel 10 Pro users have also reported the trial extension, with one saying the offer appeared in the Google One app instead of the My Pixel app.

Another person claimed to see the 12-month Google AI Pro promotion on a second Google account, but not on the account that claimed the offer last year. The second free trial may be limited to specific regions, with the United States most likely included, according to Android Authority.

One Pixel 10 Pro XL user has also benefited from the AI Pro extension, the report said, though no Pixel 10 Pro Fold owners have reported receiving it. The standard Pixel 10 and Pixel 10a are unlikely to get the same benefit because they launched with other freebies, according to a support page cited by Android Authority.

It remains difficult to determine whether the promotion is deliberate or an error. Either way, Pixel 10 Pro owners are not complaining about potentially avoiding $199.99 in subscription fees.

Pixel 10 Pro owners whose bundled Google AI Pro plan is about to expire can check the My Pixel or Google One app to see whether the promotion is live for them. If it is a glitch, it may not take long to be fixed on the back end, but trying costs nothing.
