Built-in sound was not as strong as hoped, the reviewer said. While it can produce a clear, detailed, and accurate sound profile with decent bass once settings are adjusted, the audio feels too contained. A soundbar is recommended for regular movie viewers.

Gaming performance is well-supported, with 4K 120Hz, VRR, ALLM, and Dolby Vision all featured. In benchmark tests, the Bravia 7 II reached 1,114 nits in HDR Filmmaker Mode (10% window) and 829 nits fullscreen, compared with the LG C6's 1,427 nits and 247 nits respectively. The TV supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG, as well as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, and features a 120Hz refresh rate.
