Sony's Family Full House With Rohit Sharma premieres Sept. 19, 2026, on Sony Network and Sony LIV in India, TechRadar reports.

TechRadar reported that the premiere date is significant for Sharma because it is the same date on which he made his T20I debut. On the show, the cricketer, known for three ODI double centuries and for leading India to the 2024 T20 World Cup title, will appear in his quirky, outspoken “Shana” avatar. Sony is drawing on Sharma’s familiar personality, including viral stump-cam remarks such as “Koi bhi garden mein nahi ghumega” (nobody will stroll in the garden), for the new entertainment program.

The format is a family game show in which Sharma interacts with participants through various games and challenges. The trailer for the first episode shows cricket guests including Shreyas Iyer, Shardul Thakur and Abhishek Nayar, along with Bollywood comic actor Kunal Khemu, who is promoting his upcoming movie Vibe. Promotional trailers also showed Shikhar Dhawan and his wife Sophie Shine, as well as local comedy stars Bharti Singh, Chandan Prabhakar, Haarsh Limbachiyaa and influencers including Jannat Zubair, according to TechRadar.

TechRadar reported that Kapil Sharma has left Sony for Netflix, which also has Samay Raina in its catalog, and that Sony needed a program to attract Indian family audiences. The report said the new show is exclusive to Sony and only available in India. TV audiences can watch it on the Sony Network, while cord-cutters can stream episodes live and on demand on Sony LIV.

Sony LIV subscription plans in India start at ₹599 for the mobile-only yearly plan, or ₹999 for the premium yearly plan, according to TechRadar. For viewers traveling outside India, the report said geo-blocking may apply and recommended using a VPN such as NordVPN to access Sony LIV, while noting that users should not breach broadcaster terms and conditions. TechRadar said Sony LIV is available in several countries, including the United States through Sling TV’s Desi Binge Plus or Dakshin Flex plans, but it was unclear at the time of writing whether those options would carry Family Full House With Rohit Sharma.
