Soulog Sense Pairs AI Voice Recording With a Personal Context System
Android Authority reports that the Soulog Sense, paired with the Soulog app, records and transcribes conversations, organizes them by topic and decision, and links them to related files and earlier discussions. The MagSafe recorder offers more than 50 hours of battery life and works with compatible AI tools through MCP.
In the Soulog app, a group conversation is presented as a back-and-forth between named speakers, because the app recognizes the user's voice plus up to nine others, according to the report. Unlimited Auto Transcription converts meetings, lectures, and interviews into text and covers more than 120 languages. Summaries can be produced in a different language from the conversation itself, so a Spanish-language call can be summarized in English for a colleague who missed it. Vocabulary management is intended to keep names and specialist terms spelled correctly, whether they are internal project codenames or terminology from an organic chemistry lecture.
The app also provides AI-powered Structured Records to clarify key decisions, action items, owners, and open questions. Users can explore connections through a Semantic Map, which lays out how ideas relate to each other, and a Semantic Timeline, which ties each idea to the moment it came up. The report gave the example of a product launch date mentioned in a planning call, questioned in a team meeting two weeks later, and locked in at a third session. With the Soulog Sense and app, that date can be followed from its first mention to the final decision, and the original audio can be revisited to verify details. Summaries come from switchable templates, so an hour-long workshop recording can produce a one-page recap for a team or, with another template, a short list of personal next steps.
Images, documents, and web pages can be generated in the same project as a recording, such as a spreadsheet of quarterly figures alongside the budget meeting that went through them, and Soulog AI reads across all of it at once. The Personal Context System organizes everything into project folders and keeps work and personal recordings separate by default. When something is ready to share, a user can publish a fixed version of a project with selected files attached, and a record for each version shows what has been opened, so the user can know whether the other person has viewed the latest one.
Soulog also connects to compatible AI tools through MCP, meaning an assistant a user already uses can draw on a project's recordings and notes. A compatible AI agent on a computer can access available Soulog context to draft follow-ups, refine proposals, and prepare next steps. The user can review the results, publish a share page in Soulog, and share the link with clients through Slack or other messaging apps.
The Soulog Sense attaches directly to compatible phones and cases through MagSafe. At 0.124 inches, or 3.15 mm, thick, about the same as four stacked credit cards, it barely changes how a phone sits in the hand, according to the report. Because it stays attached, the user does not have to search for it in a bag or worry about leaving it behind, and recording is one flick of a switch away without setup. The device has a dual-sided magnetic design that attaches to a compatible phone on one side and holds a magnetic card holder on the other, so a phone, recorder, and cards can stay together in one setup.
More than 50 hours of continuous recording on a full charge equals more than eight full workdays of audio, so charging is not a daily chore. A quick 10-minute recharge through the device's USB-C port provides enough power for an 8-hour workday. Recording runs through dual AI noise-canceling mics, and three physical controls handle the rest. These include a dedicated power switch and a separate recording switch.
