SpaceXAI and Cursor launch Grok Bot app for iPhone and Mac
SpaceXAI and Cursor have released Grok Bot, a new AI agent app for iPhone and Mac, now in beta for select subscribers.
The app is described as offering "AI teammates you can give real work to." Each Bot gets its own computer and signs into the apps and services the user already uses, allowing it to handle tasks across inboxes and other tools. SpaceXAI says Bots can complete jobs end to end, only returning when approval is needed.
Users can message a Bot "like a colleague," SpaceXAI said. The agent remembers conversations, learns preferences, and improves with more use. Access is initially limited to SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers.
The release comes as SpaceXAI and Cursor are in the process of becoming a single company. About 10 days after the initial launch, SpaceXAI expanded access to Grok Bot, according to the report.
9to5Mac's Fernando reportedly called the system approachable, suggesting other companies should consider following a similar design for agentic AI.
