SpaceXAI releases Grok for Intune enterprise iOS app

SpaceXAI has released Grok for Intune, an enterprise iOS app built for organizations that manage apps and data with Microsoft Intune. The app adds IT deployment, app protection policies and work email sign-in to Grok's AI, image, video and voice features.

The release follows OpenAI's move in May, when it released a dedicated version of its mobile app for enterprise users, 9to5Mac reported. SpaceXAI is pursuing the same enterprise-focused approach with Grok.

SpaceXAI describes Grok for Intune as the Microsoft Intune edition of Grok, the AI assistant by xAI, built for organizations that manage apps and data with Intune. The company says the app supports Intune Mobile Application Management, honors an organization's app protection policies, and signs in with a work email.

The app includes the core Grok assistant features. Users can ask questions and get fast answers, run deep research on the web, or work through problems in math, science, and coding. They can upload documents and photos or paste links, and have Grok analyze and explain the content.

Grok for Intune also includes Grok Imagine. The feature can generate images from text prompts, or edit uploaded images by removing objects, changing scenery, or applying an art style. It can also create short videos with sound from text prompts, or turn static photos into video.

Voice Mode lets users talk to Grok and receive natural-sounding replies hands-free. A Live Camera feature allows users to share what they see and have Grok reason about it in real time. The app also draws on web and X data so that answers stay current on news, trends, and developments for any topic, according to SpaceXAI.

For managed devices, Grok for Intune is deployed and configured by an organization's IT team through Microsoft Intune. SpaceXAI says it honors app protection policies, including restrictions on saving, sharing, and data transfer. The app uses work email sign-in and has no in-app purchases.

Grok for Intune is available now on the App Store. The launch gives IT-managed organizations a way to offer Grok on iOS under their existing Intune controls, following a similar enterprise app strategy from OpenAI earlier this year.
