SSPAI Roundup Highlights HomeKit Dashboard, AI Voice Input and Mobile Photography Apps

According to SSPAI, Dashboard is designed for iPad as an Apple Home control screen and also works on iPhone. It turns HomeKit devices, cameras, weather, calendars and clocks into freely arranged tiles that users can resize or hide, with page support on iPad and a single scrolling layout on iPhone. It reads lights, switches, thermostats, temperature sensors, blinds, locks and environmental sensors. Lights support brightness, color and color temperature, while blinds can be adjusted to 1 percent. Dashboard also supports RTSP cameras without HomeKit, including H.264 and H.265 streams, and is compatible with devices from Hikvision, Dahua, Reolink and Axis. It can search local cameras and automatically find ONVIF streams. A 3D floor plan feature allows users to import a floor plan and place HomeKit devices for control, with multi-floor support. The app is free on the App Store with a limit of around two to four devices. Premium costs $9.99 per year, removes the limit and adds 3D floor plans, advanced lighting control and configuration backup, with a seven-day free trial.

SSPAI also highlighted Adaptive Theme for Android, which switches between dark and light modes based on ambient brightness each time the screen wakes. The app requires WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS, which can be granted through root, Shizuku, network ADB debugging or a developer-provided network authorization tool. It offers six default brightness thresholds, custom thresholds, vibration feedback, current ambient brightness readings, a night mode that keeps dark mode during set hours, separate wallpapers for dark and light modes and a blur filter for lock-screen wallpapers. It does not switch modes in real time while in use; the decision is made when the screen is turned on. The app is free, open source and available on the Play Store and GitHub.

For macOS, SSPAI introduced Voxt, an AI-based voice input and translation tool that can use remote large models with a token or local macOS models. It supports transcription, translation and rewriting, as well as notes and meetings. Pressing Fn starts voice input and shows a preview before inserting text; Fn+Shift translates selected text; Fn+Control accepts spoken rewriting instructions such as making text more formal or more concise. SSPAI said Voxt is optimized for Apple Silicon and allows some voice-input functions that previously required an internet connection to run locally. It can be downloaded from GitHub.

MicYou is an open-source tool that turns an Android phone into a high-definition external microphone for Windows, macOS and Linux computers, SSPAI reported. The desktop client acts as a virtual microphone and receives audio from the phone over Wi-Fi LAN or USB. A Web mode lets users scan a QR code with a phone browser and stream audio through a web API without installing the phone client. Once the desktop app runs, a new microphone device appears in the system and can be selected as default or in third-party apps such as online meeting software and OBS. MicYou includes AI noise reduction, reverb, echo suppression, automatic gain control and equalizer adjustments, and shows level, latency and packet loss data. It also supports ear-return monitoring. SSPAI noted that phone hardware limits final audio quality, so it is better for occasional or emergency use. The phone client is Android-only; the desktop client supports Windows, macOS and Linux. It is free on GitHub.

Moment Pro Camera II for iOS received updates from version 1.3 to 1.3.4, adding slow shutter, shooting aids and more customizable camera interface options. The slow shutter mode can combine frames taken over a set duration into one photo and offers light trails and motion blur modes, plus a Bulb mode for manual exposure ending. Light trails suit car lights, Ferris wheels and sparklers, while motion blur suits water, clouds and crowds. Version 1.3.1 added higher stabilization levels, new false color options and a focus magnifier; version 1.3.4 improved recording startup at high stabilization levels. The Natural mode now supports zoom and focal length, and 24MP capture was added on compatible devices. Action Plates added adaptive controls for Techno and Swatch templates and color customization for MPC-II and Techno templates, along with exposure slider layout options. The app costs $9.9 on the App Store and has no in-app subscription, according to SSPAI.

The roundup also featured X Progress 7.0 for iOS, an app for countdown days and anniversaries. SSPAI said its interesting and rich card theme styles are an important part of the app.
