Students can verify eligibility using a school email or student ID. Microsoft's Azure for Students provides $100 in Azure credits for the first year, plus free access to Azure for Students and various Microsoft software, for students 18 and older enrolled full-time at recognized higher education institutions.

AWS Educate now offers hundreds of hours of self-paced cloud learning resources and hands-on labs to anyone aged 13 and over with an email address, expanding beyond its original student-only scope. JetBrains offers its full suite of IDEs, including IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate and PyCharm Professional, free to students enrolled in accredited institutions, with verification via school email or recent enrollment documents.

Autodesk provides free access to AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, Maya and other software for eligible students, requiring proof of enrollment beyond just an education email, such as an official letter or tuition receipt. Navicat's academic partner program gives one-year non-commercial licenses for Navicat Premium and other tools to students at recognized non-profit institutions with a school email. Google Workspace for Education is available to qualifying educational institutions, though not yet to organizations in mainland China. LINGO offers a six-month renewable educational research license for operations research and optimization, requiring a university email verification.

In AI services, Google One membership now integrates Gemini benefits. Students at SheerID-recognized universities in the U.S. can get a free one-year Google AI Pro plan, while students in other countries can get a one-year Google AI Plus plan, both requiring verification by Dec. 31, 2026. The Pro plan includes four times the free Gemini quota, Gemini Spark, and 5TB cloud storage; the Plus plan gives two times the quota and 400GB storage.

Among cloud services, Alibaba Cloud's University Program offers a 300-yuan no-threshold coupon annually to verified Chinese college students, and students at partner universities can additionally receive a 30% discount on orders under 5,000 yuan for public cloud products. Tencent Cloud's campus plan provides special server configurations for students aged 12-35, with users aged 25 and under exempt from uploading additional documents.
