The Core 1.0 is priced at $75 in the US and £65 in the UK, undercutting other Suri brushes that retail at $99 / £85. It features a bio-plastic body made from renewable and recycled materials, a motor delivering 28,000 movements per minute, and a battery that lasts 28 days on a full charge. Unlike the Pro model, it does not come with a clean-and-charge case, only a brush cap for travel.
TechRadar's reviewer tested the brush for 21 days without needing to recharge. The toothbrush has two settings, Clean and Polish, and a built-in timer that pulses every 30 seconds via haptic feedback, then shuts off automatically after two minutes. The reviewer praised its sleek design and the included magnetic mirror-mount, but noted that the absence of a gentler sensitive mode and the pressure sensor requiring some force to activate could be drawbacks. The brush also operates at 69 decibels, which is relatively loud.
