Survey: SK hynix Tops List of Most Sought-After Employers Among South Korean Job Seekers
A survey by recruitment platform Incruit shows SK hynix was the most-followed company among South Korean job seekers over the past year, ahead of Hyundai Motor, Incheon International Airport, Kakao and Samsung Electronics.
SK hynix ranked first among companies registered as favorites by users on the platform, the survey showed. The feature lets job seekers receive job postings from companies they follow by email.
The chipmaker has become South Korea's second-largest company by market capitalization, a rise driven by surging demand for artificial intelligence chips.
Hyundai Motor Co. placed second, followed by Incheon International Airport Corp., platform operator Kakao Corp. and Samsung Electronics Co. to round out the top five.
Two of the 10 most popular companies were public institutions: Incheon International Airport and Korea Electric Power Corp. Woori Bank was the only financial company to appear in the top 10.
