TDM's Neo Headphones, Which Roll Up Into a Bluetooth Speaker, Go on Sale in the U.S.
TDM's Neo headphones, which roll up into a Bluetooth speaker, are now on sale in the US for $249.
The Neo are sold through TDM’s online store and retailers including Amazon and Walmart. They come in black or white and include a carrying case. The price is $249.
Unlike some headphones that rotate ear cups 180 degrees to project sound outward, the Neo use a flexible headband and extra drivers. Each ear cup has a pair of 40mm drivers inside and another pair of 40mm drivers on the outside. In normal headphone use, only the inner drivers are active. When the headphones are rolled up, the outward-facing drivers work as a pair of 5-watt speakers, allowing music to be shared without others wearing the headphones.
TDM claims more than 200 hours of listening in headphone mode. The battery and memory foam ear cushions are removable and replaceable. In Bluetooth speaker mode, estimated battery life drops to about 16 hours, though it may last longer if the audio source does not support Bluetooth and is connected to the Neo with a 3.5mm audio cable, according to The Verge.
The Verge’s John Higgins spent time with the Neo at CES 2026. He found them a bit too bass-heavy and physically heavy because of the extra speaker hardware, but said the headphones sounded good and that the design was easy and fun to roll up. The Verge noted that Sony recently chose to reintroduce a headphone design from six years ago, while TDM’s Neo offers a different approach with its flexible headband and additional drivers.
