Dell has laptops starting at $249.99, while Home Depot and Lowe's are discounting appliances and patio furniture. Mattress brands such as DreamCloud, Nectar and Saatva are also running promotions, with DreamCloud's flagship queen mattress reduced to $699 from $1,892.

Among the editor's picks are Amazon's 4K streaming stick at $17.99, Apple AirPods 4 at $99, and the Dell XPS 13 with an Intel Core 5 processor, 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD, priced at $599 with an extra student discount. The LG C6 OLED TV in 55 inches is available for $1,499.99, and a Shark Navigator upright vacuum is marked down to $159.99. TechRadar also highlights a compact Ninja single-serve blender for under $80 and a budget Hisense 4K QLED TV at what it describes as a super low price, though it has not undergone extensive testing.
