TechRadar Lists Six Fan Deals as Australia Braces for a 'Super' El Niño Summer

Its smart features are limited to app control and do not integrate with Google Home or Alexa, though the app supports speed adjustment, timers, sleep mode and a natural breeze mode.

A second entry is a large Vornado model whose medium-sized version the writer says they have owned for years. It uses Vortex Action technology to circulate air through rooms of up to 30 square metres and offers four speeds. TechRadar lists it as suitable either alongside an air conditioner or as a standalone fan placed in front of a window, and notes that a direct current variant, a medium size and a small table fan are also available.

A third option is a pedestal version of the same line, with adjustable height, operation at 42 decibels and an easy-to-clean design. An X-Large version is also offered.

A portable misting model, the FlexBreeze HydroGo, can run plugged in at home or on its built-in battery for up to 12 hours. Its integrated tank produces ultra-fine water droplets, and the misting function also works while the fan is being carried. It weighs 1.76kg and has a built-in handle.

The priciest item on the list is the Shark TurboBlade Ultra, a bladeless fan that can be positioned horizontally for wider coverage or vertically for more directed cooling. It offers 10 speed settings and different noise levels. TechRadar said the discount still makes it a more affordable option than Dyson's comparable products.
