TechRadar Publishes Article Saying AI Bubble Could Burst Without Killing ChatGPT

Becca has been writing about consumer technology and popular science for more than ten years. Her coverage has included questions such as why robots have eyes and whether people will one day experience the overview effect. She is particularly interested in VR/AR, wearables, digital health, space technology and speaking with experts and academics about the future.

Her first book, Screen Time, was published in January 2021 by Bonnier Books. The book is about how people can learn to love their technology rather than feel stressed out by it. Becca is currently working on ideas for a second non-fiction book while also writing fiction in her spare time.

As a freelance journalist, she has contributed to TechRadar, T3, Wired, New Scientist, The Guardian, Inverse and many other outlets. In earlier roles, she was an international editor at MSN, an associate editor at Lifehacker UK and a publisher at Shiny Media.

Becca holds an English Language and Literature degree and a Master's in Public Relations and Strategic Marketing Communications. She began her career working in technology PR and marketing. Her biography states that she has a strong understanding of content strategy, branding and digital marketing.

She also loves science fiction and writes a fortnightly column that explores the science of Star Trek. According to the biography, she still holds a Guinness World Record alongside TechRadar's Gerald Lynch for playing the largest game of Tetris ever made. She enjoys taking pictures of brutalist architecture and spending what she describes as too much time floating through space and 3D painting in virtual reality.
