The device measures 336 x 377 x 341 mm and is designed for desktop use. It features a fully enclosed build, which the reviewer notes is safer than the open-frame machines commonly found at this price. Setup took under 10 minutes, with activation via a single button and connection through a mobile app. On Mac, a wired connection is needed first before switching to Wi-Fi.
In testing over a month, the engraving quality remained consistent across various surfaces, with the best results on wood and paper. The review used the 150 x 150 mm working area and found the 10W laser effective, producing little scorching. The Falcon Design Space software was praised for being well laid out.
The Falcon A1C is available in two power options. The 5W version costs $199 in the US and £199 in the UK, while the 10W version is $299 and £289. A version with an AI camera is also available, priced at $259 for 5W and $379 for 10W in the US. The reviewer recommends opting for the 10W with AI camera for future-proofing, as the camera cannot be upgraded later.
