TechRadar's 2026 printer deals roundup favors ink-tank models for value

TechRadar tracks 2026 printer deals, highlighting discounts from Epson, HP, Canon, and Brother and picks for home and office.

Among the editor's picks, TechRadar highlights an entry-level Canon ink-tank model with print, scan, copy, fax, and an automatic document feeder, and an HP laser printer that impressed the outlet during tests with up to 35 pages per minute in black and color and automatic two-sided printing. The roundup also provides quick links to promotions at Best Buy, Walmart, Newegg, and the stores of Brother, Canon, Epson, and HP; Epson's site advertises more than 40 percent off printers.

In the inkjet section, TechRadar calls the Canon Pixma TR4720 an ultra-cheap home printer with print, copy, scan, fax, an automatic document feeder, and automatic double-sided printing. Another wireless all-in-one includes a three-month Instant Ink trial, automatic two-sided printing, scanning, copying, borderless photo support, and AI-enhanced page formatting. The Canon Pixma TR8620a is an all-in-one with auto duplex, an ADF, and relatively quick print speeds for its price. The roundup also reviews the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-310, a professional-grade print-only inkjet with ten long-life pigment inks for A3+ photos and banners. TechRadar calls it expensive and feature-light but praises its print quality as superb.

For ink-tank printers, the list includes a Canon MegaTank budget model that delivers high-volume, low-cost printing and is suited to a home, dorm, or home office, though it lacks automatic double-sided printing and a touchscreen. Another all-in-one prints, scans, and copies with Wi-Fi and USB connectivity and a 100-sheet rear tray. The HP Smart Tank 6001 adds automatic two-sided printing to its print, scan, and copy functions and includes up to three years of ink. An Epson EcoTank model offers a refillable ink system with up to two years of ink, an automatic document feeder, fax, wireless and Ethernet connectivity, and operation through the Epson Smart Panel app. A wide-format all-in-one combines six-color cartridge-free printing, 13 x 19-inch media support, scanning, copying, auto duplex, speeds up to 16 ppm, mobile controls, and refillable high-capacity ink tanks; in the UK, TechRadar lists it at £629, down from £780. A 4-in-1 tank printer can print tabloid (A3+) at low cost with a 250-sheet tray, duplex printing, and a 35-sheet ADF. The Canon Pixma G6020 offers print, copy, and scan, an ADF, a 250-sheet front tray and 100-sheet rear tray, and speeds up to 13 ipm in color, which TechRadar says is enough for home, home office, or casual small-business use.

In the laser section, TechRadar highlights a budget Canon laser printer with an automatic document feeder and compact design for home-office use.
