Telesin Launches Master Imaging Kit for iPhone 18 Pro Series with Classic and Neo Lines

The previous iPhone 17 Master Imaging Kit sold more than 100,000 units globally and entered more than 3,000 Apple authorized retail stores across China, Leifeng Net reported. Sales and channel feedback indicate that demand for phone photography accessories has expanded from basic protection and support to grip, power, telephoto, and professional control. The iPhone 18 kit retains magnetic mounting, camera-style grip, and physical operation methods recognized by users in the previous generation, with upgrades focused on battery life, dual-focal-length optics, software coordination, and accessory ecosystem. Telesin said it aims to address whether users can complete creations more stably and efficiently in portrait, performance, sports, travel, and outdoor environments, rather than how many accessories can be added to a phone.

The Classic version uses MagSafe magnetic mounting, allowing the phone to be attached by bringing it close. A camera-style grip improves palm support for long shooting sessions, while a physical shutter and control buttons reduce the need to search for functions on the screen. The grip has a built-in 3,200mAh battery and supports wireless charging, serving as both grip and power source during outdoor shooting. For optics, it offers 2X and 3.5X options. The 2X lens corresponds to about 105mm, suitable for portraits, pets, and spatial compression; the 3.5X lens extends the field of view to about 400mm, aimed at concerts, sports, wildlife, and distant scenery. Compared with digital cropping, the external optics are intended to retain more effective information while bringing the subject closer.

For the higher stability requirements of telephoto shooting, Telesin also provides a custom CaiJiao app. The app designs the shooting process around the external lens and grip, offering a dedicated stabilization algorithm as well as stage mode, Live Photo, and Log functions. A 43mm interface can connect to camera accessories such as CPL, ND, UV, and star filters, allowing the phone to further expand exposure, reflection control, and creative effects.

Beyond the full capabilities of the Classic version, the Neo version further responds to user preferences for color, touch, grip, and battery life. Glacier blue and wine red match the new colors of the iPhone 18; a fine fabric surface provides a softer touch; larger grip, buttons, and dial make high-frequency operations more direct. Neo is compatible with both the 2X and 3.5X lenses and increases battery capacity to 5,000mAh. A swappable battery structure allows users to directly replace a spare battery during long outdoor shoots without interrupting creation while waiting for a charge. Neo retains the complete lens and software capabilities while targeting high-frequency creators with a more distinctive appearance and longer working time.

The launch event did not keep the product experience at parameter introductions. Three shooting positions were set up: close-range portraits, mid-range free composition, and long-range mountains and sea. Guests used the 2X and 3.5X lenses to shoot, print, and judge works. The 2X track awarded the “Textured Portrait Award,” and the 3.5X track awarded the “Mountains and Sea Telephoto Award,” putting product capabilities directly to the test in real scenes and final images. Media and creators at the scene verified the dual-lens capabilities through real works.

“Telephoto is not simply enlarging something far away, but bringing objects that originally cannot be approached into creative distance,” said a Telesin product lead. “We hope users ultimately remember not a set of parameters, but a complete experience that is clear, stable, smooth, and portable.”

The Classic version offers main bundles including the Master Imaging Grip Kit at a suggested retail price of 499 yuan, the 2X teleconverter kit at 899 yuan, and the 3.5X teleconverter kit at 1,299 yuan. Neo corresponding bundles add 200 yuan to the Classic versions, with suggested retail prices of 699 yuan, 1,099 yuan, and 1,499 yuan. The products are planned to go on sale on major platforms’ Telesin official flagship stores on Sept. 24, 2026, and enter more than 3,000 Apple authorized retail stores across China in October.

As native phone sensors and computational photography continue to develop, external optics, grips, and professional accessories are becoming new capability increments. Telesin does not view the set as a standalone teleconverter, phone telescope, or phone telephoto lens, but as a portable imaging ecosystem built around the iPhone. It ultimately points to the same user value: unlocking the portrait and telephoto potential of the phone that has not yet been fully realized.
