Tencent WorkBuddy Enterprise Edition Launches Observability Center for Scaled Agent Management

Tencent WorkBuddy Enterprise Edition launched its Observability Center in public beta on October 13, offering real-time monitoring, session tracing and trajectory analysis to help companies manage agent cost, security, performance and quality.

Enterprise administrators can use the center at https://www.workbuddy.cn/admin/overview to collect, store and analyze full-link data on internal agent usage. Tencent described it as a one-stop data foundation for managing agent efficiency, quality and cost, and for unified management of security audits, cost control and continuous iteration of agents and digital employees.

Leiphone reported that as agents move deeper into enterprise workflows, managers face problems including no clear measure of whether business runs enough, fast enough or well; no basis to judge whether spending is worthwhile; no reference for response speed; and no way to locate errors. The Observability Center is intended to help enterprises see where money is spent, where errors occur and where slowdowns and bottlenecks arise, then optimize accordingly.

The center provides three capabilities: real-time observation, session tracking and trajectory details. Tencent said these allow macro-level detection of issues, micro-level identification of causes and a closed loop that feeds optimization back into deployment, lowering the threshold for enterprise agent use and improving efficiency.

Real-time observation presents overall agent operation across four dimensions. User traffic shows session volume, active users and usage trends. Cost consumption shows points consumption. Performance latency shows agent response and conversation time. Quality status helps locate anomalies.

Session tracking builds on real-time observation to locate specific issues. For example, when points consumption rises, the center can break down consumption by department, organization and model to assist reconciliation and cost analysis.

Trajectory details let administrators drill down to specific nodes that cause slow, incorrect or expensive operations, then adjust the agent's prompt, model and tools. Through the three capabilities, enterprises can complete a cycle from discovering a problem to feeding improvements back, iterating on agent experience and delivery quality while optimizing cost and improving efficiency, with data to reference after adjustments.

Tencent has been expanding WorkBuddy in the enterprise market. Leiphone reported that WorkBuddy Enterprise Edition recently completed an office suite upgrade, with Tencent Docs, Tencent Lexiang, Tencent Netdisk, the security and efficiency operation platform and Tencent AI design agent Ardot among the first to be connected. Based on a unified account system, customers can connect memory and data across office components for a smoother office experience.

The Observability Center is intended to strengthen WorkBuddy's all-round control and observation in enterprise scenarios, giving full-link visibility into enterprise agents. Tencent said WorkBuddy has completed more than 50 version iterations since its launch in March 2026, integrating agent capabilities into organizational processes and accelerating deployment in more than 50 industries, including government affairs, education, retail, media, finance and travel.
