The Verge's Installer highlights two new repairable gadgets

The Verge's Installer newsletter featured two new repairable gadgets: the Fairphone 6 Plus and Framework Laptop 12, plus other picks.

According to the newsletter, the Fairphone 6 Plus is the first Fairphone smartphone sold directly in the United States. It has an upgraded chip and 12GB of RAM, and iFixit gave it a 10/10 repairability score, which the newsletter called a strong stamp of approval for the device's longevity.

Framework introduced the second generation of its 12-inch convertible laptop. The new model offers Intel's latest Core Series 3 processors, with optional fingerprint reader and backlit keyboard. A pre-built version running Fedora Linux starts at $699, $100 less than the previous generation's starting price.

The newsletter also highlighted Sennheiser's redesigned Momentum True Wireless 5 earbuds, which have user-replaceable batteries in both the earbuds and the charging case, and come in metallic colors. Additional recommendations included the word puzzle game Dartwords, the action movie Mutiny starring Jason Statham, the action RPG Mortal Shell II, and Polaroid's Pokémon-themed cameras, including one styled after a Poké Ball.
